The Entrance Hall and Terrace
Located on the ground floor of the Museum with access through the main door, the entrance hall is the perfect venue to hold a cocktail reception. Surrounded with all-glass walls, the space is flooded with light during the day and the view is splendid year round. Your guests will be able to admire the Riverfront Park and the St. Lawrence River, both indoor and outdoor on the terrace made available for your event. A kitchen facility is available next to the entrance hall to keep your perishables and beverages cool and conveniently provide catering services.

The Mezzanine
Located on the second level of the Museum with easy access up the stairs or in a spacious elevator, this contemporary open space offers a magnificent view of the ship museums. Soft morning light or setting sunlight entering through huge pane windows on two facades will lend a warm ambiance during your event, whether a press conference or a launch event. Since the Capitaine J.E. Bernier exhibition is adjacent to the mezzanine, your guests will be able to tour it while on the premises.

The Boathouse
The boathouse is located on the ground floor of the Museum, but it can also be accessed from the second level. The hall is a vast venue with a unique woodsy cachet. This magnificent room featuring several traditional watercrafts is ideal for a cocktail evening, a private concert or a launch event. The huge garage doors open to the Riverfront Park, inviting guests to enjoy the outdoors and admire the St. Lawrence River and Charlevoix mountains.
Important: Access to the boathouse is limited to the summer, because the room is not heated.

The Multipurpose Hall
Located on the third level of the Museum with easy access up the stairs or in a spacious elevator, this private room offers every amenity needed for a meeting, a conference or a children’s party. Several windows flood the room with light, which can also serve as a darkroom to play a movie.

The Exhibition Hall
Located on the third level of the Museum with easy access up the stairs or in a spacious elevator, the exhibition hall provides a lounge-like area and an exceptional view of the ship museums and the horizon. The venue is ideal for any type of reception, with or without an exhibition. Since the Capitaine J.E. Bernier exhibition is next door one level above, your guests will be able to tour it while on the premises.

The Riverfront Park
Are you planning an outdoor event and looking for an enchanting decor featuring a limitless horizon? The new generation Riverfront Park is what you need! During summer, prolong a warm lazy day, admire the sunset, enjoy the wind and let all your senses take in the St. Lawrence River. Sheltered under a tent (rental is the client’s responsibility), your guests will delight in discovering this unique venue for a cocktail evening, a wedding or a party.

The Ernest Lapointe Icebreaker
Would you like to surprise your guests with an off-beat venue? Organize your event on the Ernest Lapointe icebreaker for a thoroughly original festive scene sure to make your guests delight in their memorable evening on board! Located behind the Museum in the centre of the Riverfront Park, the huge ship affords an outstanding view of the St. Lawrence River and islands nearby.
