culture. In the Musée`s Chalouperie, you will discover a considerable
collection of longboats, canoes, rowboats and even more! Our master boat-builder
will be happy to answer your questions and demonstrate a unique traditional
trade.

Each year, during the summer season, Ghislain Pouliot, master boat builder, animates three two-day training workshops on wooden boat building. The dates and fees relating to the workshops are established each spring.
Unique in Québec, these workshops are an excellent opportunity
to acquire knowledge “on the road to extinction.”
